THE VISION
For this Rozelle townhouse, our clients, a dynamic family of four, wanted more than a cosmetic update. They needed bathrooms that were as practical as they were beautiful, spaces that supported busy routines while bringing calm into daily life.
Guided by their love of bold colour and natural materials, we designed two distinct yet connected spaces: a playful, light-filled bathroom for the children and a serene, refined ensuite for the parents. Travertine-look tiles and natural stone mosaics add warmth and texture, while Rosso Orobico stone, with its soft pink and plum tones, brings a touch of personality and quiet luxury.
Client Challenges
In the children’s bathroom, a new skylight floods the space with natural light. A custom double vanity and smart storage encourage independence and keep clutter at bay. A half-height shower wall and built-in bench add both practicality and comfort.
In the master ensuite, we introduced a cavity sliding door to improve flow, refined the vanity for balanced storage, and layered lighting to create a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. Every detail was designed to enhance daily rituals and bring ease to the everyday.
THE DESIGN RESPONSE
With compact footprints and fixed layouts, both bathrooms required clever thinking. The family bathroom lacked natural light, while the master ensuite’s swing door restricted flow. Our goal was to create spaces that felt open, functional, and effortless, without structural changes.
